There are two Short Term Mission weekly schedule options: Monday through Saturday and Monday through Sunday. Each Short Term Mission team will have their own schedule with various serving projects and ministry assignments.

What will our team do on an STM trip?

Teams can expect to serve both onsite at the Dream Center and offsite in the Dream Center outreach locations. Each team will have a range of serving assignments that include but are not limited to serving with the Dream Center Mobile Food Trucks providing grocery distribution, Adopt a Block outreach in neighborhoods, serving and preparing hot meals for community members in the Dream Center Kitchen, distributing resources and groceries through the Dream Center Outdoor Pantry or helping the Dream Center Construction team with various projects such as landscaping, painting, moving furniture, etc. Short Term Missions teams may also serve in ministry opportunities such as Dream Kids children's ministry, Foster Care Intervention, Dream Center Homeless Outreach and serving at our church, Angelus Temple Church of the Dream Center.

Other serving assignments could include city beautification, food distribution, furniture construction, and offering prayer and relational support to community members.

Do we pick the schedule for our STM team or is the schedule selected for us?

The Short Term Missions staff will prepare and communicate each team’s serving schedule. Each team can expect to have a range of various ministry assignments on their schedule, from Dream Center outreach to serving onsite at the Dream Center.

When do we have free time during the STM experience?

There are a few opportunities throughout the STM experience for free time! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings are all open for free time to plan fun outings with your team, Bible studies, or a time of prayer and worship.

Standard weekly schedule (may vary)

Monday

All STM teams arrive at the Dream Center on Mondays between 1pm and 3pm for team check in. Teams must arrive by 3pm (unless approved for a late check in.) All teams attend STM Orientation before serving with The Dream Center.

Tuesday & Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday are full days with ministry assignments in the mornings and afternoons.

Thursday

Thursday morning will include a morning ministry assignment, with an all team Debrief Thursday afternoon with worship and a time to hear stories from your team about their Short Term Missions experience. Thursday evening we have our Angelus Temple Church service for all teams to attend.
